How the tools differ

Rather than make claims about how the other tools behave on your setup, here is where YTS Control stands, so you can compare it against your own experience:
- Platform: YTS Control targets Windows and Linux with a graphical interface. SelfishNet and NetCut are Windows tools; EvilLimiter is a Linux command-line tool. The right fit depends on the machine you’ll run it from.
- Per-device view: YTS Control is built around a live list of devices with individual rates and controls, rather than a single network-wide number.
- Separate up/down limits: upload and download ceilings are set independently per device.

The same honest limitations apply
No local-network tool escapes the physics of the network. YTS Control, like the others, is affected by client isolation on guest Wi-Fi, dynamic ARP inspection, devices behind a second router or NAT, and some Wi-Fi drivers; it controls IPv4 rather than IPv6. And it can show which destinations a device contacts, but it cannot see inside encrypted connections — not pages, searches, messages or passwords — a limit VPNs and modern privacy features push further still.
